There’s a particular moment at the end of the day when the sky cools to blue-gray and the city quietly catches fire. This painting lives in that moment.
A young woman glances back over her shoulder, hair tossed by the wind, arms folded against the chill. The warmth of the skyline lands softly on her face, while the background dissolves into painterly bokeh: glowing windows, reflected lights, and soft towers rendered in confident, expressive brushwork.
The contrast between the cool atmosphere and the golden glow gives the piece a quiet tension, intimate and a little restless.
