An original oil painting exploring the female figure through a balance of realism and expressive brushwork.
Softly rendered forms emerge from a deep teal-green background, where loose, gestural strokes and areas of exposed canvas remain part of the composition. Cool greens, muted earth tones, and subtle contrasts of light and shadow give the painting a quiet, introspective atmosphere.
The combination of carefully observed anatomy and unfinished, painterly passages creates a balance between representation and abstraction. Rather than defining every detail, the painting leaves room for the viewer to experience the figure, color, and movement of the paint itself.
An original piece for collectors drawn to contemporary figurative painting and expressive oil painting.
